Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about ordering, sizing, customization, shipping, returns and exchanges at Vanna Bridal.

Are your dresses made to order?
Most Vanna Bridal dresses are made to order by our experienced production team. Depending on the design, production may include cutting, sewing, tailoring, lace placement, beading, embroidery and finishing. Please allow approximately 15–20 business days for production before shipping.
How long will it take to receive my dress?
Your estimated delivery time includes production time plus shipping time. Most dresses require approximately 15–20 business days for production. After production is completed, international express shipping generally takes approximately 5–8 business days, depending on your destination and customs clearance.
How far in advance should I order my dress?
We recommend ordering at least 6–8 weeks before your wedding or event whenever possible. This allows sufficient time for production, international shipping and any local alterations you may wish to make.
How do I choose the correct size?
Please do not choose your size based only on your usual clothing size. Bridal and formalwear sizing may differ from everyday clothing. Measure your bust, waist, hips, height and hollow-to-floor measurement, then compare your measurements with our Size Guide.
What if I am between two sizes?
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size. A dress can usually be taken in more easily than it can be let out.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes. Custom sizing is available for many of our dresses. You can provide your individual measurements so that the dress can be made according to your measurements. Please carefully follow our measuring guide for the most accurate results.
Does custom sizing guarantee a perfect fit?
Custom sizing can help achieve a better fit, but it does not guarantee that alterations will never be required. Body proportions, posture and personal fit preferences vary, so minor local alterations may still be necessary.
Can I customize the design of a dress?
Yes, selected dresses can be customized. Depending on the design, possible modifications may include color, neckline, sleeves, dress length, train length, back design and other details. Please contact us before ordering to confirm whether your requested changes are possible.
Can you make a dress from a picture?
In some cases, we may be able to create a similar custom design based on your inspiration photos. Please send us clear reference images, your measurements, preferred color, event date and specific requirements. Our team will review your request and confirm whether it can be made.
Will the color look exactly the same as it does on my screen?
We make every effort to display colors accurately. However, slight color differences may occur due to screen settings, lighting, photography, fabric texture and dye lots. Different fabrics may also reflect the same color differently.
Will my dress look exactly like the product photos?
We make every effort to reproduce each design as accurately as possible. Because many dresses involve hand cutting, sewing, lace placement, beading, embroidery and finishing, slight variations may occur between individual dresses.
Why is there a slight difference in the measurements?
Because our dresses involve hand cutting, sewing and tailoring, please allow an approximate 1-1.5 inch handmade production tolerance. Small variations within this range are generally considered normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Will I need alterations after receiving my dress?
Minor alterations are common with bridal and formal gowns. Even when the correct size or custom measurements are selected, adjustments such as hemming, strap adjustment, waist adjustment or bust fitting may occasionally be required for the best final fit.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order. Because most dresses are made to order, production may begin shortly after your order is confirmed. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may be limited.
Can I return my dress?
Eligible standard-size, non-customized dresses may be returned by submitting a return request within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged and returned in their original resalable condition. Please see our Return & Refund Policy for complete details.
Is there a return processing fee?
For eligible returns made for personal reasons, a 15% return processing/restocking fee will be deducted from the merchandise refund. This fee does not apply to verified manufacturing defects, shipping damage or incorrect items sent by us.
Can custom-sized or customized dresses be returned?
Because custom-sized and customized dresses are made specifically for you, they are generally not eligible for standard change-of-mind returns. This does not apply to verified manufacturing defects or incorrect items.
Who pays for return shipping?
For returns due to personal reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any related customs or import charges. If we confirm a manufacturing defect, shipping damage or incorrect item, we will provide an appropriate solution.
Do I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Where do you ship from?
Our dresses are produced and dispatched directly from our production facility. We currently do not operate a U.S. warehouse.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has completed production and has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Tracking information may take approximately 24–48 hours to update.
What should I do if my package is delayed?
If your tracking information has not updated for an unusually long period, please contact us with your order number and tracking number. Our customer service team will help you check the shipment.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect dress?
Please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number, clear photos of the dress and close-up photos of the issue. If the problem is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, shipping damage or an incorrect item, we will provide an appropriate solution.
